Coyote tricked the Monster into swallowing him. There were many creatures in the Monster's stomach, alive and dead. He cut out the Monster's heart and the Monster died. Coyote freed all of the other creatures and brought the dead ones back to life. He cut the Monster into pieces and threw the leg over the Rocky Mountains and created the Blackfeet. The dancer respects the Coyote as his creator.
