The Dream of Flying
The Story
After the sweat lodge, the healer took White Man's Dog into his lodge. The healer made a special mixture and sang purifying songs. He put the mixture onto the brave's chest and made him relax. He took an eagle feather and made motions of an eagle flying. White Man's Dog slept and dreamed he had flown with the eagles. When he awoke, he felt light and free.
